Delivery information

Riverdale Direct offer a free delivery service on orders over £350 + VAT to mainland UK addresses, this delivery service is available on all stocked orders however, a surcharge may apply to some Scotland addresses, solid wood flooring and some goods outsourced with the manufacturers.

Unlike some suppliers we don't reduce the cost per metre and then load up the delivery costs You can buy with confidence from us

All orders under £350 + vat will incur a delivery charge of £19.95 + VAT, exceptions may apply.

Deliveries are made to the 'kerb side'. Unfortunately due to insurance guidelines it is not the couriers responsibility to take goods into your home, therefore please arrange for adequate help at time of delivery. Flooring deliveries could be made on a lorry or a van. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road or area is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction, please inform us at the time of order. Deliveries are made from 8.00 am to around 6.00pm.

Requests for an E.T.A on the day of delivery are strictly at the courier’s discretion. Riverdale Direct cannot be held responsible for delivery times. If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date for whatever reason, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. ALL deliveries must be signed for.

Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery, this means opening tubes to check trims, glancing over (but not opening) packs of flooring for visible damage. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or missing item, make sure it’s noted on the courier’s paperwork. No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged or missing. All claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have been received
